For instance Hurley helped sponsor a surf camp for about fifty or so kids back in 2009. Not only does the company care about their products, but they care about their customers as well, and that just goes to show how involved and caring the company really is. Plus when you look at it as a marketing strategy, the earlier you tap into someone’s mind with your brand, the better the odds are down the road that they’ll prove to be more loyal to your brand verses someone else’s.

Hurley’s collection has so many bags to choose from, but hurley the one backpack, in my opinion, is the best by far. You can find hurley the one backpack in men’s and women’s styles. Also, hurley the one backpack is priced from about $25 dollars to about $70 dollars which I think is a very reasonable price range. Especially for students who want to or have to get a new bag every year.
Another awesome marketing strategy Hurley came up with was to sponsor events in order to spread their brand awareness even more. One event Hurley sponsors in particular is the U.S. Open of Surfing. It’s held every year at Huntington Beach in California, which is one of the best locations to surf in the states. The U.S. Open of Surfing started up in 1994 and is known today as one of the hugest competitions for professional surfers. Not only is it entertaining to watch the pro’s like Mick Fanning or Kelly Slater, but there are so many people that show up that it’s exciting to interact with everyone on the sand too. Last year they had about 500,000 people attend the event and everyone had an amazing time. Apparently the waves were so massive; surfers literally had to be escorted out by jet skis. If you are interested in attending the event and getting in on all the fun and action, the dates for the event this year are scheduled for July 31 through August 8.
